Our pre-show backstage photos reveal the inspiration for the Nicholas K Fall 2014 collection: the black-and-white works of fishermen between 1984 and 1998 by photographer Jean Gaumy. A fisherman himself, Gaumy’s book Men at Sea showed the professional struggles of colleagues who routinely risk their lives for their work. Two Votivo Candle scents – White Ocean Sands and Seablue Sky – also served as the signature fragrances for Fall 2014, according to the label’s Facebook page.
