Cabbeen Fall 2007 – New York Fashion Week Review

The first mainland Chinese designer to show at New York Fashion Week, Cabbeen – a.k.a. Ziming Yang – showcased his trademark embroideries in a crisp menswear collection. The Guangzhou-based Cabbeen said that his goal was to acquaint his countrymen with clothing that is modern, yet comfortable.

“The Chinese are often viewed as somewhat stiff and conservative,” Cabbeen said in a statement. “I am always trying to relax that idea and produce collections that do not try too hard but are an easy to wear, easy-to-mix silhouette.”

He definitely accomplished that goal with unique, casual clothes that flattered the figure and highlighted his artistry, one example being images of chops sprinkled across a white blazer. These are the clothes that your cute-boy crush should be wearing!
