Article: Sirena Wang wins the 2006 Miss New York Chinese Beauty Pageant
In a dominant performance, the 20-year-old student from Birmingham, Ala., won the competition at the Mohegan Sun Casino.

Contestant Interviews:

#13 Sirena Wang: When she first spoke with Meniscus, she spoke of her desire to return to her roots after spending the last six years in the deep South. After the pageant, it was "Mission: Accomplished" for the winner.

#9 Susan Liu: This year's third runner-up, whose path took her from China to American Samoa to Pennsylvania, was inspired by the success of a past winner.

"Purity": The debut feature film by Narhee Ahn explores themes of love, relationships and tragedy through the eyes of Korean American Christians.
