complete coverage by Christopher Bourne and Yuan-Kwan Chan

"American Fusion": Interview With Director Frank Lin: Lin reveals some of his personal reasons for penning the romantic comedy boasting a stellar cast that includes Sylvia Chang, Esai Morales, Pat Morita and...Fabio.

"Be With Me": This film by Singaporean director Eric Khoo boils down to a moving exploration of the human need for love and companionship.

"Eve and the Fire Horse": Set in 1970’s Vancouver, Julia Kwan's film is almost uncanny in its accuracy in representing a child's point of view while depicting the clash of Eastern and Western religious beliefs.

"Inner Circle Line": The film takes its title from the name for the circular subway line in Seoul, and it becomes a potent metaphor for the lives of its characters: a man and a woman who both share the same name.

"Journey From the Fall": This film by Ham Tran has a very clear purpose: to act as a corrective to previous cinematic portrayals of the Vietnam War and its aftermath.

"Purity": The debut feature film by Narhee Ahn explores themes of love, relationships and tragedy through the eyes of Korean American Christians.

"The Slanted Screen": A look at a documentary about Asian American masculinity in film with insight by director Jeff Adachi.
