La Maison Unique Longchamp Grand Opening

Whoever coined the term "fashionably late" obviously didn't see this party at the French import Longchamp coming. Not only was the 9,000-plus square foot space -- beautifully designed by London native Thomas Heatherwick -- already packed by the start of the bash, but the line wrapped around the block. Celebrities and guests alike entered through the door and ascended a series of wooden, ribbon-like staircases to view the merchandise. Attendees included Lucy Liu, Susan Sarandon, Eva Mendes and Maggie Gyllenhaal. - Yuan-Kwan Chan
