Hovering in the lobby: Naima, the winner of Season 4 of “America’s Next Top Model,” who was beaming in an asymmetrical gold dress that appeared to be made out of sequins.  Even in the glamorous attire, she looked overdressed and out of place at 2 p.m.  She was scheduled to attend Tracy Reese’s show.  After doing a television interview, she stayed in the lobby for quite awhile, chatting with various friends and posing for pictures with the handful of fans who recognized her.

Speaking of Tracy Reese…: The African American designer’s luminous collection of fun, feminine clothing was worn by one of the most diverse groups of models yet.  It’s great to see, in particular, Asian models making their mark on the runway this season.

Everyone’s a star: A triumvirate of Asian photographers snapped pictures of every fashionable person they could find, from journalists to buyers to friends of friends crashing the party.

Spotted before and after the Diane von Furstenburg show: Nicky Hilton, Vogue editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley, Diane Sawyer, Patricia Field and a pregnant Natalia Vodianova.  Further proof that the celebrity is replacing the supermodel as a fashion icon was evidenced when Nicky was mobbed by photographers, while Natalia – the Calvin Klein model hailing from Russia – went largely unnoticed.
