Little-Brooklyn Toy Dog Private Charity Auction

Feb. 10, 2006, Esprit, New York

ESPRIT teamed up with Black & White Fashion to host a silent auction of toy dogs made by more than 40 designers in New York, London, Tokyo, Sydney, Hong Kong, Holland, Italy and Russia. The inspiration for the collection was the Japanese story of Hachiko, a dutiful Akita dog who remained loyal to his master even years beyond the master's death. (A statue of Hachiko sits in the Shibuya district in Tokyo.) Proceeds from the auction benefited The Madison Square Boys and Girls Club.
