Cohen Review – Fall 2009 New York Fashion Week
Dutch designer Tony Cohen put together a Fall/Winter 2009 collection that most women dream about: easy-to-wear pieces – tricky zippers and neck holes need not apply – that exude loads of style. Cohen’s sophisticated twist on basics featured draping, asymmetrical hems and layers of fabric that managed to softly float around rather than hide figures. With a clearly complicated construction, his dresses and tops, paired with tight trousers and leggings, incorporated elegant details such as gold threads accentuated with black stones and the occasional print.
