Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2013: Paparazzi-worthy street style

Want a foolproof way to see yourself on a street style blog? Buy any look from Rebecca Minkoff’s Fall 2013 collection and wear it while walking around some cool downtown New York neighborhood. Just about any piece will do, whether it’s the black and white tweed coat with black leather trim, partial leather sleeves and oversized fur collar, or the black space age graphic tee worn under a black quilted leather jacket.

Inspired by “modern, spacesuit-like construction details and a new, sophisticated grunge attitude,” Minkoff has created a collection that is catnip to street-style photographers and fashionistas alike. She knows her target market well, designing clothing that is a natural extension of the trendy aesthetic of her handbag line.

One sweet but edgy tomboy look consisted of a red tweed coat over a wildly printed dress, worn with tan ankle boots and a khaki green beanie. In the model’s hand was a softly structured black leather bag with a mixed leather print on one side.
