To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Yohji Yamamoto’s collaboration with adidas, Y-3 threw an after-party at the same venue that hosted its Spring 2013 runway show just hours earlier. The colorful 3-D wall projections by artist Devan Harlan were retained as a continuously blinking light show at the St. John’s Center. Yamamoto – who already made a rare appearance on the runway that day – made it a double by showing up early at the party. He talked to attendees, then was mobbed after Meniscus spotted him in the crowd, graciously taking pictures with everyone who asked.
