Pamella Roland – Fall 2012 New York Fashion Week Review

On one of the coldest days in an otherwise mild New York winter, the latest Pamella Roland collection returned to the runway at Lincoln Center.  In one of her strongest collections to date – I actually wished I could have bumped up the season from Fall/Winter 2012 to get this in stores now – label designer Pamella DeVos successfully channeled the ski resort town of Aspen, Colorado.

Details such as fur, beads and sequins punctuated sparkling shades of snow and ice throughout.  As usual, the evening gowns deserved the most attention.  American television presenter Maria Menounos, who has worn Pamella Roland gowns on the red carpet, modeled a horizontal striped beaded gown with white tulle at the bottom.  Veteran Estonian model Carmen Kass, in blonde, closed the show in a dramatic white strapless wedding gown paired with matching knee-high boots.
