Nautica Spring 2011 – New York Fashion Week

The southern coast of the United States – specifically, the Florida Keys and New Orleans – served as the inspiration for the newest Nautica men’s collection, which played out at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts.  Featuring the usual crispness indicative of the brand, the Spring 2011 collection was split into two sections: one featuring models in swimwear and surf wear, and the other showcasing casual and business wear.  Board shorts dominated the latter, but the more interesting pieces dotted the former, with silk ties and patchwork blazers providing a nice touch to looks very appropriate for the season.
