Jenni Kayne – New York Fashion Week Spring 2008 Review

Jenni Kayne managed to produce a Spring 2008 collection that was simultaneously retro and modern. In a presentation featuring models with plenty of ‘tude, Kayne’s subtle, sleek clothing was conservative enough for the office, yet light enough for spring and versatile enough to wear as layers for those times when one outfit is necessary for an entire day’s worth of events. Kayne shone best when she injected a bit of color, most notably in an airy series of golden yellow looks made of chiffon and linen.
